Update

So much has happened. I don't really feel bad at all that I haven't written on this, because I haven't had time and I don't think too many people read this anyway.

So, with some minor/major obstacles, we moved into our new house two days late on May 31. Things are great here. we still don't have our family pics on the walls in the rec room yet. I don't know where half the things are that I need, but I am happy.

Things between me and Chris were tense in the last going off at the old house. It was always cluttered, I got ticked when I had to clean it all. I was trying to keep it all really clean so people could come and look at it and it just wouldn't stay that way. Like, empty rolls of toilet paper left on the bathroom counter, pee on the seat, the toys left in the bathtub, little hairs left around the sink from him shaving. you know, crap like that.

Here, things are much more laid back. We respect each other more and both keep things going at the house. i guess it helps that Zach is getting a little easier to take care of and he is sleeping through the nights now a little more.

we are trying to decide what we need more, a shed for the lawn mower, junk and snow blower, a fence to block out those awful neighbors or the driveway paved. The first and the last seem like the most important right now.

Then, just as we were about to make a decision, the money we were using for that had to go and buy a new computer. We will get a couple hundred for the one we used to have, but not near enough to cover the one we just bought. It is beautiful though. I just love it. And watching movies on it is just as clear as watching it on our big screen. it is a joy! It came with these kids games on it too, so Isabella is quickly learning how to get into them.

I have been the manager at work since the end of may. It is about to end soon and I can't say I am looking forward to it. The manager is coming back from sick leave and I just don't know how I can bow down after all this time of making the store mine. It is a little upsetting right now and my stomach is sick thinking about it. I have enjoyed it so much and in a couple of weeks it will all end. I mean, i will still love it, but it just won't be the same. I wont' be the one that gives the answers and makes all the calls. I don't know. We shall see

My grandfather died a few weeks ago. He had Alzheimer's. He is in a better place now, and loved ones don't have to see him like that anymore. That is a terrible disease. It effects your mind and in turn reeks havoc on your body. He wasn't even close to the man he was. A dear friend died 2 weeks before that. I had spent a lot of time with her in BC and she was like a mother while I was there. She had cancer and passed away while still in her 40's. Since then, life is a bit more sacred to me. I admitted to Chris the other day that I am constantly thinking about the kids and what would happen if something happened to them. I am a bit tormented by it all to be honest.

So on a lighter note. I feel the need to have a baby again. I think about it all the time. I dream about it, in fact, this is something I want just as bad as I wanted it the first two times. Chris on the other hand is dead set against it. he was content with just Isabella. But being an only child I knew I wanted more than that. he is quite glad we had Zach now because our family is complete. But I want to add. If it is meant to be, it will. I think for him, going back to half checks after taking on a much bigger mortgage, is just not worth it.

So, for the few of you who do read this, I will try to give updates more often. Oh, and we cut Zach's hair off. For the summer anyway. It was just way too much hair for the summer. He looks older now. He still has curls and it is still blond, just much shorter.

SOLD

So, the house went on the market last Tuesday. Wednesday night we had 2 people come to see the house. One at 7:30 one at 8:30. Which really sucked because I was at work and poor Chris had to clean, mop, and do dishes in a hurry with two kids being cling ons. Then, by the time they were allowed to come home the kids were ready to fall apart.

On Thursday we got word that the first couple liked ours and another. The second lady really like it but had to meet with the bank. Friday, we got a call that the first couple wanted a second viewing. So Saturday they came. By Sunday, the house was sold.

There is a brand new house that we have had our eye on since it went on the market early last week. It is about 10 minutes from here, out of the city (which I'm not used to). SO we made a bid on that house on Monday and by Tuesday we found out that we had that house.

The inspection on this house was yesterday and we have been on pins and needles ever since waiting for something bad to come back. The real estate agent (the best one ever) came today to take the key box off the door and said that he still hasn't heard anything, so take that as good.

The closing date is May 29th, so about 5 weeks. Scary. Isabella is excited. She keeps saying, is someone gonna buy our house so that we can have a rec room and then I can have Dora tractor. Like she thinks she can go driving that around the house. Anyway. If anyone wants to check out the house, go to www.mls.ca then go to property search and type in old cart rd. It is number 11. The pics don't do it enough justice though.

Almost Done

SO, the renos are almost done. Just a couple of corners Chris has to put moldings in (he hates corners), and the tub thingy for the tub wall, and we are all set. Our goal is to be done so that the week after Easter we can go see a real estate agent! It is really quite scary. I wanna go and look at houses but I am afraid to tease myself. I don't wanna go see a house I fall in love with and our house isn't ready yet and I can't get it.

Zach is drinking his morning bottle now and I am so refreshed. I worked last night until just after 10, so I didn't get to sleep as early as usual, but my little man didn't wake until 7 this morning. He still doesn't usually sleep through the night. His 5th tooth just came through a few days ago so maybe that is why he had a more sound sleep.

Work is going fantastic. Pier 1 Imports here on the Rock, ROCKS!!! We have been having a fanominal week and we can't get a thing done, but I don't care. After Christmas everything dies down alot, and this is such a boost to moral to have so many sales in the store (just go in and take a look) and to have so many customers liking the sales!!!

Talk later. Happy Birthday to my nan, Joyce. Today she is 70! And to top it off, she is the one who baysits my kids. Not too many 70 year olds can handle a 3 and 1 year old all day! Way to go Joycey!!!

Time...what is that?

So, between kids, endless renos, work, and the great paying Sp work, I have no time for myself.

SP work is when I pretend to be a patient with a given problem and let med students ask questions for experience or for their exams. I get paid around $27 a hour give or take.

So, Zach slept through the night twice in the last week. There are still a few small painting jobs that need to be done here. We are hoping to sell in the summer if all goes well. Work is going pretty good, there doesn't seem to be enough time in the run of the day.

Anyway, Zach has the wildest hair. Full of curls. i know he should have it cute but it is too cute and I can't bring myself to get it cut. I will leave you with a few pics of the clown hair.

Update

So much has happened since I last sat down.

1. Zach turned 1 (so sad)

2. I am on a weeks holidays

3. We are doing some minor renos

4. Zach still doesn't sleep

5. He had strepp throat

6. I am reading new books

So, we had a small family party at moms for his birthday, nothing too extravagant. Oh, Chris's birthday was on the 8th of Feb. Both Chris and I have taken a weeks holidays to get this house looking like a house should look and not a complete dive. We really should have taken before and after pics because it really is a big change. I am really embarrassed that I lived in such a place!!! Zach hasn't been sleeoing well at all lately. I mean, besides that he hasn't slept through the night since June, lately he just cries all night. I took him to the doctor and she checked his throat and said it was really bad. She gave him some antibiotics. That hasn't helped. Well maybe a bit. But the last two nights he has just cried in his sleep. I may have to take him back to see the doc. And last but not least. My uncle told me about this series of 12 books called Left Behind. I am hooked. It is based loosely on the Book of Revelation and the Rapture. I mean, there is love, anger, mystery, and violence. Everything all books have. I love them. I will leave you with a pic and Isabella singing sexy back.

Premiscuous girl

Heh! I have been talking about getting this video on the blog. I was on my way home from picking up my cousin (she was going to babysit). She thought it was so funny, so she recorded it on her phone. The first little bit is not as great as the last half, so hang in there. I am glad she doesn't know what she is saying. But watch her face at the end, "a huh!" She is so serious. Talk a look and tell me what you think in the comments. Just click on the link.
